Participant Agreement & Commitment Acknowledgement
Program Overview: The Resilience Series is part of ZWHJCOC’s mission to create self-sustaining pathways out of poverty for families in Dallas, Texas, through education, training, and job placement.
This 3-part series — Small Business Bootcamp, Preparing for Stagflation, and Trading as a Business — is offered free of charge thanks to our nonprofit funding.
While the program is free, it is not without cost. The investment we ask from you is your time, commitment, and active participation. Your progress and accountability will be measured through the commitments outlined below.
Participant Commitments
1. Attend All Classes On Time
- Classes begin promptly at 11AM.
- Arriving more than 10 minutes late will be considered an absence.
- For virtual sessions, cameras must remain on with your face visible.
2. Complete Required Readings & Assignments
- All assignments must be turned in to your Success Coach by 10:00 AM on the designated due date.
- Late or incomplete assignments may result in not progressing to the next class in the series.
3. Engage Fully in Class Activities
- Participate in discussions, group work, and exercises.
- Contribute to a respectful, encouraging learning environment.
4. Progress Through the Series by Earned Advancement
- Advancement to each subsequent class is based on:
- Completion of all assignments and readings on time.
- Active participation and engagement in class.
- Demonstrated growth in understanding and applying concepts.
5. Provide Accurate Information for Program Metrics
- Share requested business and financial data to track progress (as required by our nonprofit reporting).
- This information is kept confidential and used only for program evaluation.
