“Protecting Yourself from Identity Theft”

Nahemia Lusan, Retail Personal Banker for Comerica Bank, will present information on “Protecting Yourself from Identity Theft,”  Lusan says that most fraud begins with the fraudster getting your personal information. Once your information falls into the wrong hands, a fraudster can begin to impersonate you to acquire goods, services and even assets.

This course will:

  • review tools that may serve as an extra layer of protection

  • urge participants to take ownership of their personal information

  • urge participants to have an awareness of how we fall victim to Identity theft

Presenter: Nahemia Lusan is a Retail Personal Banker with Comerica Bank, where she drives small business development, revenue, client relations, and financial education.  A Trusted Advisor with six years experience in banking, Nahemia serves in multiple roles, including that of a Licensed Financial Specialist, Bank Branch Trainer, and Customer Advocate.  Prior to transitioning, she served as a Cultural Organizer for 10 years at the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission.
